Zone supplies new customized charging post — new customer segment

Zone Systems has a long history of offering a wide range of signage solutions to customers worldwide. Now we want to tell you about a new customized solution as an example of our flexibility. Six months ago we received a new request. Since then we’ve been working on designing and producing equipment for charging stations for electric and hybrid cars and now we can proudly present our first products. Eddie Andersson, Key Account Manager at Zone Systems tells us that our ordering customer Re & Go has flexible solutions for charging boxes for both business customers and private consumers. We have designed and constructed parts of the equipment with Re & Go’s wishes in mind and then their electronics have been installed and added to our design.

This project is an example of how we easily can go outside the box to meet our customer’s wishes. Our close collaboration with constructors and designers in our team gives us the opportunity to meet our customers’ wishes and with that we can offer new products and in this case to a new customer segment, says Eddie Andersson, Key Account Manager.

For the private consumer, we have produced both a wall-hung holder and a post where the consumer has the option of choosing what suits them best, based on design and placement. For the business consumer, we have manufactured a sturdier pole in aluminum to also be able to apply double charging boxes.

Some of the models we developed have been produced from already existing material. In the long run, this means that we save time, we take responsibility for the environment and that we know we’ll deliver a good result and material with right quality.
